I'm so sorry to all you people reading for not writing in awhile. I have been so busy with homework. It is like the teachers ARE trying to drowned you in homework. They don't want you to survive through the night and are hoping you come back with un-finished homework.
I would have really have been typing like crazy if it wasn't for school. :( But, hey now I got a few days off and I get to add a weekend!!!! so I'm going to be typing up a hurricane!!!!
But, so I'm gonna start (even through it has already started) this post off with a question.
What is your favorite thing about Thanksgiving.
I love the FOOD!! FOOD, FOOD, FOOD, FOOD. What is better than eating is...okay that was weird to say because nothing is really better than eating good food...COOKING THE DELISH FOOD!!! WHOO HOOO!
Turkey! RUN! Because old farmer Bob is comin after you with spices and butcher knives and before you know it you'll be on a grill cookin for 4 hours! SO RUN!
---help us. Says the turkey
NEVER, YOUR MINE TO EAT TONIGHT!!!!
Can't yall imagine it now? Turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans, Pumpkin and Apple pie, Key lime pie, Cranberry sauce (Even through I don't like cranberry sauce) Who can resist Thanksgiving Dinner.
The Macy's parade is just the beginning! Then comes the guests and the food, no school, and movies, movies, movies, movies, really who can ignore it?????
There should be songs written (I MEAN POP AND DANCE SONGS) for thanksgiving. Like songs about turkey's running from farmer bob with a baseball bat as a microphone singing why he was running! I mean and yeah...
Yeah by the time everyone reads this post it WILL be past Thanksgiving and everyone, INCLUDING YOU STARING AT THE BRIGHT COMPUTER SCREEN, will be rushing to get to their favorite stores for the huge sales. BLACK FRIDAY IS COMIN!
Or is already here because in 2 hours it is Friday...lol
Well now the Christmas trees are being set up and Christmas music is playing. Thanksgiving has come and gone...again
I don't get it, how come Christmas has a little over a month celebration just WAITING for Christmas to get here. I mean it is one thing to get everything ready for the season, but I mean there is no Thanksgiving Eve, no Thanksgiving movies, No THANKSGIVING MUSIC!!
There is like...well, lets put it like this, Thanksgiving is like a blank page in a book of Christmas stories. It comes for one day, the huge celebration lasts in the morning and in the evening then everyone looks forward to Christmas, forget about Thanksgiving lets shop early.
If you were to go into a shop RIGHT NOW...okay maybe not now because it is like after Thanksgiving...but if you were to go into a store 3 weeks ago, no, wait, back in October, you would find Christmas Trees and supplies in HOME DEPOT AND LOWES!!!!!
My dad has told me a story about my grandpa back when he worked at a carpet store...now I know what YOUR thinking, oh know, don't tell me she is just like my parents saying back when I was a kid your...etc...no I'm not that person.
But when he worked at a Carpet store, they had a tradition that has at least passed down to me, that on Thanksgiving night around Midnight when they were done having fun with family they would go to the store and set it up for Christmas and it would be like a party. Now they had gotten everything out a few months before but not one thing was set up till after Thanksgiving. So I don't like listening to a radio station that plays Christmas Music like 1 week before Thanksgiving. One song doesn't hurt everyone once and a while but it is still wrong what the marketing stores do. They most likely would have 10 times more fun having a party setting it up after thanksgiving than just putting it up with no enthusiasm.
But, the damage has been done and well personally be taken back down till next year so doesn't matter anyways.
Ok, it is FINALLY time for me to flip on my radio and dance to Christmas Music!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
Here are some pics to cheer yall up
